Missions
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20 ESV)
MISSION STATEMENT:
To see God glorified through the establishment, strengthening and multiplication of churches as well as missionary efforts in the United States and around the world. To encourage, strengthen and equip Aliso Creek Church members and others to be missionally minded and personally involved in leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
OUR MISSION TEAM:
At Aliso Creek Church we believe that God's grace has been granted to us so that we can share it with others. We’re passionate about sharing the gospel with people both here and around the world. We actively support a diverse group of missionaries and cross-cultural workers based in the Middle East, Uganda, Singapore, Mexico, and various parts of the United States.

Missionary of the Month:
THE BORNMANS
In the Sierra Madre mountains of Mexico, plagued by violent drug cartels, is the Copper Canyon region. This area is home to the Tarahumara people and has been the mission field for Andrew and Iris Bornman and their four children for the past twenty years.
Rather than immediately starting to preach and expecting people to show up, they have been committed to building deep relationships and genuinely caring for the community. Andrew operates a teaching farm for Mexico Medical Missions (MMM). He is helping farmers feed their families and is able to share the Gospel through personal conversations, public farm demonstrations, and at local farm parties.
The Bornmans constantly feel the clash between the Biblical worldview and the deeply pagan local culture that prioritizes parties and drunkenness over all other things. Andrew explains, “We would gladly never attend another party, except for the fact that it is the price of relationship and opens the door for opportunities to share the Gospel.” Their presence at these parties establishes a trustworthy reputation in the community.
After many years, the Tarahumara people are finally trusting the Bornmans to begin public Bible teaching in their local language. God has truly begun making things happen! May His Kingdom grow and transform this culture.
Please keep the Bornmans in your prayers!
