Children's Ministry

Children's Ministry

Aliso Creek Church is committed to helping parents raise kids who know and love Jesus Christ. We are excited to invite children to attend children's church, but they are more than welcome to stay in our service, as they play an important role in our congregation. During the Sunday School hour, we welcome children of all ages to join us to learn about the love of Jesus through age-appropriate lessons.

Room 106, 0-3 Years

We believe that discipleship begins with even our youngest children. In our nursery, we love singing, playing, praying and reading Bible stories. Each month, we focus on a Bible story from, The Big Book of Bible Stories for Toddlers (from the creators of the Gospel Project).

Children's Church

Pre-K to 5th Grade

We love having our children join us at the beginning of our worship service. If families wish, children may join us in children's church when they are dismissed after the doxology.

In children's church, we teach from the Teach me to Worship curriculum. Children will learn about the different elements of our worship service and why they are important to what we believe. The children return to the sanctuary for the benediction at the end of the service.

Sunday School

Pre-K to 5th Grade

Sunday school takes place after our main worship service. Sunday school begins at 11:10am in room 105 where we begin by singing and praying. After our opening time, our younger children stay in room 105 to engage in a Bible lesson while our older children go across the hallway to room 112 for a lesson geared towards their specific age group.

During Sunday school we use Great Commission Publications Show Me Jesus curriculum.
